Veronica and Irene left big city life behind to start Fancy Farmerettes, a farm business that focuses on environmental sustainability, animal welfare, supporting local, and building community. They sell quality farm products from the heart of Norfolk County; sustainable living at its best!
Fancy Farmerettes needed a site with e-commerce to showcase their story, and their sustainable eco living farm products. A place where consumers can find out more about them and their products, and place an order if they feel so inspired. They needed a site that would promote brand awareness, and showcase their products to new audiences.
We began working with Fancy Farmerettes in January 2022 to help build their website and e-commerce presence. We met Fancy Farmerettes through Ontario Southwest Tourism. They needed a website with e-commerce capabilities that would be ready to launch for the upcoming farm season.
The Process
We chose Shopify as the best e-commerce platform for their business and products because it allows for an easy to use content management system to showcase their upcoming and current sustainable products available for sale. Utilizing the shopping cart feature, users can easily add the products they are interested in to order in a seamless manner. The website needed to be adjustable depending on current stock and have the ability to grow with the business as the business ventures into new farm products.
Working with Fancy Farmerettes we built a Shopify website that sets them up for future growth and success.
Results
A Shopify website that is responsive, capable of future integrations, and functional. With a focus on being user friendly and accessible, the design of the website allows for users to find the information and products they need in fewer clicks without compromising on content. The website allows Irene and Veronica to share their story, promote their mission, provide farm updates, and keep in contact with their visitors.
