With great music, talented musicians, and extraordinary guest artists, London Symphonia prides itself on bringing unforgettable music experiences to the London community. We wanted to help London Symphonia share their love of music through the power of social media to reach even more audiences.
We were already working with London Symphonia to build their new website as the hub of their new marketing communications strategy, so we knew we could help support them with an integrated approach to their social media.
We started off by developing a social media strategy that would help them reach new audiences and demographics. We did this to align with part of their mission; "We endeavor to grow and diversify our audiences to reflect the broader London community, through programming initiatives that engage different demographic groups." From there, we developed an ongoing social media calendar, themes, and supporting templates to make it easy to uphold their social media brand identity.
Next, with our Ongoing Social Media Support, we helped London Symphonia better prepare and promote their upcoming season by utilizing HeyOrca, a content scheduling tool, and posting bi-weekly on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
During this social media strategy, London Symphonia wanted to promote their concerts even further. We worked with them to develop a Meta Ad strategy to promote the sale of tickets to upcoming performances. Through boosted posts and meta ads, London Symphonia used paid social to bolster its organic strategy to find and explore new audiences.
The results at the end of the year?
On Instagram, we saw a 25.33% Growth Rate which is up 713% from the year prior, and an impressive 685% increase in 3-second video views. Organic reach saw an increase of 38% resulting in an Organic Reach Rate (ORR) of 39.72%. We saw 1,608 Organic Interactions; 1,503 Likes, 105 Comments, and 58 Saves.
For Facebook, one of the harder platforms to grow organically in recent times, we saw a 1.18% Growth Rate which is up 49% percent from the year prior, and 3-second video views up a whopping 20526% from the year prior. Organic reach saw a 178% increase in organic reach resulting in an ORR of 43.29%. We saw an increase of 1492% in engagements with 2,008 Likes, 155 Comments, and 401 shares.
